Refund Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy — Sliceo LLC
Last Updated: March 27, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains when Sliceo LLC ("Sliceo," "we," "us") may issue a refund, credit, or other remedy for Services purchased from us. Our Services are time-based, capacity-limited, and often customized to a client's specific needs.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all purchases made directly from Sliceo, including professional services (consulting, advisory, implementation, and related deliverables), subscriptions or recurring access-based services (if offered), digital products (templates, toolkits, recordings, or similar materials, if offered), and training, workshops, or events (if offered).
If you have a signed Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, Order Form, or other written agreement with Sliceo that addresses refunds, cancellation, or payment terms, that signed agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with this Policy.
2. Baseline Rule
Except where (a) a signed agreement expressly provides otherwise or (b) a refund is required by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable once charged or paid. We do not issue refunds because a client's circumstances have changed, the client no longer wishes to proceed, or the client did not fully use purchased Services.
3. Key Definitions
"Services" means any consulting, advisory, implementation, support, training, deliverables, or other services provided by Sliceo.
"Work Started" includes, without limitation: kickoff or onboarding meetings, discovery calls, document or data review, research, planning, configuration, drafting, analysis, production of deliverables, or time reserved and blocked on Sliceo's calendar for the engagement.
"Deliverables" means any written materials, slides, reports, analyses, templates, configurations, designs, recommendations, or other work product provided by Sliceo.
4. Professional Services
Retainers and deposits. If your proposal, invoice, or SOW includes a retainer, deposit, setup fee, or reserved-capacity fee (collectively, "Retainer"), that Retainer is non-refundable. It secures scheduling, allocates team capacity, and covers planning and administrative costs that begin immediately upon engagement.
Cancellation before work starts. If you cancel before Work Started, any amounts paid in excess of the non-refundable Retainer may, at Sliceo's sole discretion, be issued as a service credit usable toward future Sliceo services within 12 months (non-transferable, non-cashable), or a refund of the unused portion less any non-cancellable commitments or third-party costs already incurred. Service credits are the default remedy.
Cancellation after work starts. If you cancel after Work Started, you remain responsible for all Services performed through the effective cancellation date and any non-cancellable commitments and pass-through costs incurred on your behalf (subcontractor time, software, tools, travel, etc.). No refunds are issued for work already performed, and prepaid amounts are non-refundable. Sliceo may, in its sole discretion, offer a time-limited service credit for clearly unused future work that had not yet begun.
Rescheduling. Confirmed meetings, workshops, or on-site engagements require at least 2 business days' notice to reschedule. Late rescheduling or no-shows may be treated as a completed session and billed accordingly, or may incur a rescheduling fee.
5. Deliverables: Acceptance and Cure
Acceptance window. Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, you have 5 business days after delivery of a Deliverable to notify Sliceo in writing of any specific, material deficiency relative to the agreed scope. If no written notice is provided within the acceptance window, the Deliverable is deemed accepted.
Cure and re-performance. If you timely report a qualifying deficiency, Sliceo will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct it. If, after two reasonable correction attempts, Sliceo cannot remedy the deficiency, your exclusive remedy — and Sliceo's sole liability — is a refund of prepaid fees attributable to the deficient Deliverable or deficient portion of Services, as determined by Sliceo in good faith.
6. Subscriptions and Recurring Services (If Offered)
Subscription charges are non-refundable once processed. Cancellations take effect at the end of the then-current billing term. Sliceo does not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused time, partial months, downgrades, seat reductions, or early cancellation. Sliceo may review disputes involving duplicate or incorrect charges and, if confirmed, issue an appropriate correction.
7. Digital Products (If Offered)
All sales of digital products are final once access is delivered or materials are made available, except where required by law or where a technical failure on Sliceo's side prevents delivery and cannot be corrected within a reasonable time.
8. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable in all cases (unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise in a signed agreement): Retainers, deposits, and reserved-capacity fees; Services already performed; travel time, travel costs, and expenses incurred at the client's request; third-party pass-through costs (software licenses, tools, contractors, data purchases, ad spend, printing, shipping, etc.); and taxes, bank fees, and payment-processing fees not recoverable by Sliceo.
9. How to Request a Refund Review
Requests must be submitted in writing to [billing@sliceo.com]. Include your legal name, invoice number(s), date of payment, description of what was purchased, and the reason for the request with any supporting documentation. Sliceo will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and will typically issue a decision within 15 business days.
10. Refund Method
If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method unless Sliceo agrees otherwise in writing.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or bank dispute, you agree to contact Sliceo in writing and provide a reasonable opportunity to review and respond. If a client initiates a chargeback that contradicts this Policy or a signed agreement, Sliceo may suspend Services and pursue lawful collection or dispute remedies.
12. Updates
Sliceo may update this Policy at any time by posting an updated version. The Policy in effect on the date of purchase governs that transaction unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
